I would like to believe you but,,,,, Where can I see a Spirit for myself?

Of course, you cannot see a Spirit with your eyes because it doesn’t have a physical appearance.  However you can get a very real experience of the spirit in someone else in two situations – Birth and Death.

Birth and Babies

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a young
baby, maybe less than six months old?

If you have had some experience of bringing up a baby, you will have noticed that sometimes its face has an amazingly out of this world look. Do you remember seeing this?

William Wordsworth, the Lakeland Poet, wrote a famous poem called Ode: Intimations of Immortality which includes the line
But trailing clouds of glory do we come,

This refers to the way babies still have a far away look in their eyes which relates to another world. Wordsworth calls the look ‘celestial’. This can occur for several months after birth.

Have you seen this? What feeling did it give you?

Death

Anyone who dies of natural causes, rather than a fatal accident, usually takes some time about it.

No matter how long or painful the process has been, most people seem to experience a ‘revival’ towards the end which may last a few hours or days.

Experienced medics recognise this and usually send their patients ‘home to die’, although they don’t usually tell the relatives that.

During the last few days or weeks the dying person is detaching as a spirit from the body and returning to their full spiritual identity.

Relatives and friends who are present and calm during some of this time report this to have been a beautiful experience.

Have you had this experience yourself?  Sadly many people get so emotional, which draws their attention back to themselves, that they fail to notice.

So those are the occasions you can get closest to experiencing someone else’s spirituality.  If you have not had this experience yourself why not ask other people who have been in those situations?
